I'm writing this post sitting in a UHaul box with the computer on the window ledge, as the movers are walking around me rolling away boxes... It's finally here - our move out of Chicago! Very stressful move since we were also planning our 3 week vacation. You think when you have movers that will do the packing for you it will be easier, but I found it almost as stressful because you have to worry about what you are keeping in hand and what you want to pack yourself to make sure you know where it is. So that's it, 4609 is almost empty and very dirty. After they leave, we'll have to clean up, pack our suitcases and decide where to eat dinner for our last night in Chicago. We'll have to think of our top 10 of what we'll miss and won't.
As for our vacation, we are leaving on a red-eye flight tomorrow to Athens, Greece. After 3.5 days of ruins, ancient stuff and greek food, we'll fly out to Egypt. We'll go visit creepy tombs and magnificient wonders of the world in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor for about a week. Then we are off to more sand, but this time to relax as we island hop through the Greek Islands of Santorini, Paros and Mykonos, where we'll hopefully enjoy some more sun, more sand, cliff-side views and more greek food.
You can probably expect pictures and recaps next month, after the sand has settled and hopefully the warm weather of spring in Toronto welcomes us.
Goodbye Chicago! Happy trails to us!

I guess we won't be expecting any new posts for at least 3-4 weeks!
Happy and safe trips and a wonderful vacation!
Have fun on your trip!
Have fun! Make sure you take good notes on which part of Greece is more baby friendly!!
