Food adventure

I have never been a fan of mussels - something about them being black and giant wanna-be clams was not appealing. So, I surprised even myself when I ordered them for dinner. The adventurous dinner order was a product of the fancy french dinner environment, the craving for some clams, and the side of fries. Verdict: a bit squishy, but not as slimy as I thought. The butter+onion+cream sauce made them yummy, of course.
