I've had a craving for tostones for a while. Finally came to an arepa cafe and ordered their tostones appetizer with a side of carne mechada (ropa vieja). The tostones were slightly ripe, so they were a bit sweet. Yummy topped with their garlic mayo and the carne. Perfect lunch on a Saturday afternoon.
