Work window distractions

The construction site in front of our office provides for endless distractions. T one time was amazed when friends' kids were glued to the computer watching videos of construction machines. Trust me, it can be very exciting...

The most fun stuff so far have happened in the last couple of weeks.
Trucks full of gravel have been arriving at the site and driving in reverse close to the edge. It then tilts its back slowly and as soon as the door opens, a huge waterfall of gravel comes out!!! Picture doesn't do it justice. I can't help but cheer with my hands up when that gate opens.

The other is similar, and it's a truck full of gravel with a conveyor belt in the middle and an extension arm with another conveyor belt. When they turn it on, the extension arm belt is really fast, shooting gravel a couple of feet forward into the air! These have been on the ledge closer to us, so it's awesome to see the gravel get slinged into the pit, but we can't see where it lands down inside.

No wonder I've been so unproductive this month...
