I had a craving for a marble square today. I ended up getting a banana chocolate chip coffee cake, which was just okay. But all day I couldn't stop thinking about chocolate treats. So tonight I made chocolate chocolate chip muffins. Actually it's the marble squares chocolate base, but in individual muffin cups with no cream cheese. I remembered the chips this time!
I also learned that last time I made marble squares (my first time), I made them with double the chocolate squares!!! The recipe asked for 1.5 ounces and I put 3 squares in! I even remember double checking with L that the recipe was for 1.5... No clue why I thought each square was .5 ounce... They were still a big hit.
The muffins are for my coworkers this time.
